Product Manager, Financial Services (Canada, Remote)

Our client is a wealth management firm investing in the platforms behind its advisory practice. They're hiring a Product Manager to help modernize their financial advisors' overall experience.
Advisors run on a stack of platforms, several supplied by third-party vendors — digital advisor onboarding, portfolio onboarding, and others. This role tracks those vendors: what's changing, when it lands, and what it means for the client's own advisor platform. You'll turn that into priorities and work alongside senior colleagues on the larger platform decisions.
Mid-level, 2-4 years of product management experience.
Permanent, full-time. Fully remote within Canada; candidates must currently reside in Canada.
Responsibilities
Track vendor roadmaps and release cycles across the advisor platform stack.
Assess how vendor changes hit the client's advisor platform, and flag impact early.
Help prioritize improvements across the advisor experience.
Apply an advisor lens to product decisions.
Communicate platform direction to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements
2-4 years in a product management role, having helped deliver a product or platform.
Financial services industry experience, including the regulatory, compliance, and risk constraints that shape what a platform can do. Fintech qualifies.
Strong problem-solving: working through ambiguity and weighing trade-offs.
Client experience focus, applied through an advisor lens.
Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have
Wealth management experience.
Experience with Mako digital onboarding.
Experience with d1g1t wealth management platform.
Experience with Conquest or similar financial planning tools.
Salesforce experience.
Compensation
CA$80,000 to CA$115,000 base annually, 8-12% bonus, and equity. The final compensation is determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
