We are looking for a skilled and client-focused Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Junior Functional Consultant to join our growing ERP consulting team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing D365BC solutions, understands business processes across multiple functional areas, and enjoys working closely with clients to deliver successful ERP projects.
Position Summary:
As a Microsoft D365BC Junior Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of D365BC implementation projects. You will work directly with clients to understand their business requirements, recommend best-practice solutions, configure the system, support testing and user training, and provide post-implementation support.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, technical consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Consulting
Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to understand client business requirements.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Recommend D365BC functionality or best practices to meet business needs.
Translate business requirements into functional solution designs.
Prepare Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), business process flows, and solution documentation.
ERP Implementation
Participate in end-to-end Microsoft D365BC implementation projects.
Configure D365BC modules based on approved business requirements.
Assist with solution design and implementation planning.
Support data migration activities, including data validation and reconciliation.
Configure workflows, approvals, dimensions, user roles, and system settings.
Coordinate customizations or integrations when required.
Functional Support
Provide functional support to clients during implementation and post-go-live.
Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Investigate support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
Escalate technical issues when necessary and collaborate with the development team.
Testing & Deployment
Develop and execute functional test scenarios, test scripts, and UAT.
Validate configurations before deployment, support deployment activities.
Client Training
Conduct end-user training sessions.
Develop user manuals, knowledge base articles, and training documentation.
Assist clients in adopting D365BC best practices.
Documentation
Prepare implementation documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation and change requirements, keeping documentation accurate and current.
Project Collaboration
Work closely with team members to support project planning and delivery, implement client requirements, provide updates, communicate risks or issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft D365BC or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Candidates with more extensive D365BC consulting experience are preferred.
Experience participating in multiple ERP implementation projects from requirements gathering through go live.
Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Experience configuring standard D365BC functionality.
Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Experience delivering user training and post-implementation support.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
Functional Knowledge - Experience with one or more of the following D365BC modules is required:

Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of AL development concepts.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional certification is an advantage.
Experience working with D365BC integrations.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Experience supporting clients across multiple industries.
