WSG has acquired a steady pipeline of capital raising engagements (see below) and is looking to strengthen its efforts around getting these issuers in front of qualified institutional investors. As an Investment Banking Distribution Lead, you will be a critical link between the companies WSG represents and the global investor base that wants access to high-quality sustainability-focused transactions.
$120MM – Equity – LNG export infrastructure development.
$50MM - M&A – Oil & Gas production with a water-reclamation component
$150MM - Equity– Novel on-site clean power generation technology
$25MM - Convertible Note – Financing for home solar-and-battery systems
$100MM - PIPE – Transportable clean power/mobile microgrids.
TBD – Sovereign Client Advisory – National energy and infrastructure development
$50MM – Equity - PFAS (“forever chemical”) destruction technology
$10MM – Equity – Next-generation battery cathode materials production
$25MM – Convertible Note/Structured Debt – Advanced waste and water treatment technology
$25MM – Equity & Project Finance – Bio-based specialty chemicals
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain a network of institutional investors including asset managers, family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and impact investors aligned to WSG’s deal flow
Drive distribution of active capital raises by matching deals to investor mandates and managing the placement process through to close
Develop and execute investor coverage strategies across WSG’s target sectors and transaction types
Serve as the primary relationship manager for key investor accounts, ensuring ongoing engagement beyond individual transactions
Work closely with the origination and banking teams to ensure deal positioning resonates with target investor audiences
Represent WSG at investor conferences, sustainability forums, and LP events
Provide market intelligence on investor appetite, mandate shifts, and competitive dynamics to inform firm strategy
What You’ll Bring
Proven track record raising capital from or distributing deals to institutional investors in private markets, investment banking, or capital markets
Established relationships with institutional allocators (including asset managers, family offices, or impact-focused funds) with demonstrated ability to convert relationships into closed transactions
Deep understanding of private placement, capital raise, and investment processes from the investor’s perspective
Familiarity with sustainability-related investment themes and the investor appetite driving capital into WSG’s focus sectors
Series 7, 79, or 82 license (FINRA)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field
A relationship-first orientation - you invest in coverage over the long term and know how to earn institutional trust

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is fully commission-based with no base salary. It is designed for senior professionals who value autonomy and significant upside over guaranteed pay.
