About the Role
IITT Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Group Director to oversee the operations, growth and expansion of its three schools. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in school management, admissions, business development and operational leadership.
This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can manage multiple campuses, build effective management systems, improve school performance and help expand the group's presence into new locations across India.
The Group Director will report directly to the Group Chairman and work closely with school principals and departmental heads to achieve the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Multi-School Management
Oversee the daily operations and overall performance of all three schools.
Coordinate with principals, campus heads and administrative teams to ensure smooth functioning.
Establish standardized operating procedures and performance targets across campuses.
Conduct regular campus visits, operational reviews and performance assessments.
Ensure compliance with applicable education regulations, safety standards and institutional policies.
2. Admissions & Business Growth
Develop and implement strategies to increase student admissions and enrolment across all campuses.
Lead the admissions and marketing teams to improve lead generation, conversion rates and student retention.
Monitor admissions performance and introduce corrective measures where necessary.
Develop local outreach, promotional campaigns and partnerships to strengthen school visibility.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
3. Expansion & New Campus Development
Research and identify potential locations for new schools across India.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis and feasibility assessments.
Prepare business plans, budgets and projected enrolment targets for proposed campuses.
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on the planning and launch of new schools.
Explore opportunities for school acquisitions, partnerships and management contracts.
Develop scalable systems that support the group's long-term expansion.
4. Financial & Administrative Management
Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets in coordination with the finance team.
Track revenue, expenditure, fee collections and campus-level financial performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising educational quality.
Establish financial reporting systems and ensure accountability across campuses.
Monitor staff productivity, procurement and resource utilization.
5. Human Resources & Team Management
Supervise the performance of principals, campus heads and administrative staff.
Assist in recruiting and developing strong leadership teams.
Establish clear reporting structures, responsibilities and performance review systems.
Improve employee engagement, retention and organizational accountability.
Develop leadership capabilities within the existing management teams.
6. Academic Coordination & Parent Relations
Work with principals and academic leaders to maintain consistent academic standards.
Monitor student performance, parent feedback and overall satisfaction.
Support the introduction of new academic programs, technology and extracurricular activities.
Help resolve major operational issues affecting students, parents and staff.
Requirements
10–15 years of professional experience, preferably in school management, education operations or multi-campus administration.
Previous experience as a Regional Manager, Operations Director, School Group Manager, Business Head or similar senior position.
Experience managing multiple campuses and coordinating with principals and department heads.
Strong understanding of admissions, marketing, budgeting and school operations.
Demonstrated ability to improve enrolment, operational efficiency and institutional performance.
Experience in new-school launches or education-sector expansion will be an advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
MBA, postgraduate qualification in management or a relevant education leadership qualification preferred.
Willingness to travel between campuses and to prospective expansion locations.
