Role Description The Account Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing relationships with families, prospective students, and community partners, ensuring a high level of service and engagement. On a day-to-day basis, this role maintains regular communication with assigned accounts via email, phone, and virtual meetings, responds to inquiries, and provides timely information about programs, admissions, and school resources. The Account Manager tracks account activity, updates CRM or database records, prepares reports on enrollment and engagement metrics, and coordinates with internal teams such as admissions, marketing, and student services. This position also helps identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, supports virtual events or information sessions, and contributes to initiatives that enhance the overall experience for Woodward Academy stakeholders. The role requires proactive follow-up, effective problem solving, and consistent documentation to ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
Relationship management and customer service skills, including experience supporting families, students, or clients in an educational or service-oriented environment.
Strong communication abilities, with clear, professional written and verbal skills and comfort leading remote meetings or calls.
Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple accounts, and meet deadlines in a part-time, remote setting.
Proficiency with CRM systems or databases, plus working knowledge of standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting account data, identifying trends, and recommending actions to improve engagement.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as admissions, marketing, and student support.
Understanding of or interest in K–12 education, independent schools, or student services; prior experience in these areas is beneficial.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
