We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale ETL solutions using the Ab Initio platform, along with strong database and Unix/Linux skills.
The role involves building scalable data pipelines, implementing data transformations, supporting production environments, and collaborating with data architects and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Build scalable and reliable data pipelines and system integrations.
Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and processing.
Develop and optimize ETL workflows for improved performance and efficient batch processing.
Analyze and troubleshoot production data issues and provide timely resolutions.
Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
Exposure to cloud data engineering or migration projects.
Knowledge of the Healthcare domain is an added advantage.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience
Relevant experience in Ab Initio ETL/Data Engineering with strong hands-on development experience.
Experience working with enterprise-scale data integration and data warehousing projects is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Collaborate with data architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Automate deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and operational processes where applicable.
Ensure solutions follow established development, security, and data management standards.

Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE
Experience with Ab Initio Co>Operating System
Experience with Ab Initio EME
Knowledge of Conduct>IT and Express>IT
Experience with Continuous Flows
Strong knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL
Proficiency in Unix/Linux
Good hands-on experience with Shell Scripting
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing
