CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Pharmacy Technician- Appeals & Prior Authorization for our Fortune 100 healthcare client in Minnetonka, MN. This job can be worked from anywhere in the US as long as you have high speed internet and a distraction-free home office area.
Job Summary
The Remote Pharmacy Technician- Appeals & Prior Authorization is primarily responsible for conducting clinical outreach and technical reviews to support formulary changes and membership growth while ensuring compliance with service level agreements and maintaining high-quality standards.
Pay: $20 – 25 an hour based on experience.
Hours: Full Time - Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST, with alternating Saturday shifts

Job Duties:Conduct outbound calls to collect clinical information for Medicare Part D appeal requests
Ensure timely and efficient case processing to meet department deadline
Meet department standards for production, quality, and success rates
RequirementsActive State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and IF formulas.
A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better!)
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door
Highly Preferred Large corporation experience
Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
4+ years of Pharmacy related experience
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy
Prior Experience in a Medical or clinical setting
