Financial Analyst - Portfolio & Investment Analyst

Flobase Capital is seeking a Portfolio & Investment Analyst to support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of private credit, specialty finance, investment analysis, and data analytics. You will work closely with senior management to evaluate new investment opportunities, monitor existing portfolios, and translate complex financial and operational data into actionable investment decisions.
What You’ll Do
Analyze prospective investment and portfolio data to assess performance, cash flows, risk, and expected returns.
Build financial models to evaluate IRR, investment performance, downside scenarios, and transaction economics.
Monitor funded portfolios against underwriting expectations and identify emerging trends and risks.
Develop portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level performance analysis.
Perform financial and data reconciliations across portfolio, servicing, and payment data.
Translate analysis into clear recommendations for investment, portfolio, and capital-allocation decisions.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio analytics, private credit, specialty finance, structured finance, consumer finance, or a related field.
Strong financial modeling, accounting, and cash-flow analysis skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
Ability to independently move from raw data to a clear investment or business recommendation.
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Experience with loan or receivables portfolios, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or Python is a plus.

Compensation: $90K to $120K + Bonus Structure
