About the Role
We are looking for an experienced researcher, analyst, journalist, security/defense professional, or geopolitical consultant with strong knowledge of South Asia, particularly Northeast India and Arunachal Pradesh.
Key Areas
Northeast India & Arunachal Pradesh
India-China relations & border security
Defense & national security
Regional governance & ethnic/tribal issues
Geopolitical & political risk analysis
Infrastructure, investment & regional developments
Responsibilities
Conduct independent research and analysis.
Monitor regional developments.
Prepare 800–1,500 word research reports.
Analyze reliable sources and identify key trends/risks.
Provide research-based insights and consulting support
Requirements
Relevant professional experience in research, journalism, defense, security, strategic affairs, geopolitics, or consulting
Excellent written English
Strong analytical and research skills
Ability to work independently
Relevant professional/institutional networks are highly valued.
Current students are not eligible
Academic research experience is not mandatory if you have strong relevant professional experience.
Compensation
USD 1,000–3,000/month + performance-based bonus
Final terms are subject to client discussion; trial-period compensation may differ.
