Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The advisor will counsel prospective students on suitable study abroad destinations, programs, and pathways, with a strong focus on UK nursing and healthcare qualifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, explaining admission requirements, assisting with application documentation, and guiding learners through exam-related training options. The role involves supporting students and their families with visa-related information, coordinating with partner institutions, organizing information sessions, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions. The advisor will work closely with the training team to align study abroad plans with OSCE, CBT, and OET preparation, while providing ongoing support until students transition into their international academic or professional roles.
Qualifications
Ability to provide Educational Consulting and study abroad guidance tailored to diverse student profiles.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to counsel students and interact with families and institutional partners.
Knowledge of Visas and immigration processes related to study abroad, especially for the UK, and capacity to explain requirements clearly.
Experience in Consulting or advisory roles, preferably within education, training, or international student services.
Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, international relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing applications, documentation, and student records.
Comfort working with digital tools, databases, and communication platforms for student management and outreach.
Prior experience working with nursing or healthcare professionals, or in exam preparation environments, is an advantage.
