Talent Acquisition Specialist | The Health Institute
The Health Institute is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find and hire the people who will carry our mission forward.
In this role, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across the organization—from sourcing and screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding—while building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process. You’ll be a key part of creating a candidate experience that reflects the warmth, purpose, and culture of The Health Institute.
This position also provides HR operations support alongside our Senior HR Generalist, including onboarding, HRIS administration, compliance support, personnel records, employee questions, and other day-to-day HR needs. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who loves recruiting but also enjoys being part of the bigger picture of building a strong, organized People function.
What You’ll Do:
• Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across departments
• Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels
• Conduct initial candidate screens and coordinate interviews
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and evaluate candidates
• Manage candidate communication and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
• Coordinate offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding
• Build talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions
• Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics
• Provide backup support for HR operations, compliance, onboarding, and employee records
• Assist with Rippling, I-9s, E-Verify, employment verifications, and HR reporting
• Support HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with HR and leadership
• Strong communication skills and a high level of confidentiality
• Someone who enjoys both finding great talent and building great HR processes
If you’re a relationship-driven recruiter who wants to play a meaningful role in building a growing organization and its culture, we’d love to hear from you.
