Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Tabular LLC is a contract, remote role responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy and operations. Day-to-day tasks include developing financial plans and budgets, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The CFO will review and interpret financial statements, provide insights to support business decisions, and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls. This role involves collaborating with leadership on growth strategies, pricing, and service profitability, as well as advising on risk management and compliance with relevant financial regulations. The CFO will also support client-related financial initiatives where needed, helping align Tabular’s services with the needs of small business customers.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated Financial Planning experience and the ability to develop budgets and long-term financial strategies.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Hands-on experience with Financial Reporting, including management reports, performance metrics, and variance analysis.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear recommendations and strategic actions.
Experience in small business or professional services environments, preferably in bookkeeping, accounting, or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; CPA, CFA, or similar credential is a plus.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity.
