Are you an LPN looking for a nursing role where you can make a meaningful difference without the physical demands of traditional inpatient nursing?
At Pyramid Healthcare – New River Valley Inpatient, you’ll provide hands-on nursing care to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders and behavioral health concerns while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team.

🌙 Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
💰 Pay: $24–$29/hour

What You'll Do
As an LPN, you will:
Provide direct nursing care and clinical support in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
Complete nursing assessments, screenings, observations, admissions, and clinical documentation.
Administer medications and monitor effectiveness, client response, and potential side effects.
Monitor and support withdrawal management, including CIWA, COWS, and other clinical assessment tools as appropriate.
Provide medication and health education to clients and families.
Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical providers with assessments, medication management, and treatment planning.
Monitor changes in client condition and communicate significant clinical findings to the treatment team.
Maintain medications, medical equipment, and clinical supplies according to regulatory and organizational standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote continuity of care and successful treatment outcomes.
Maintain confidentiality and complete required training and documentation.
What We're Looking For
Current, active LPN license in Virginia
Compassionate, dependable, and clinically minded nursing professional
Interest or experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, withdrawal management, or addiction recovery is a plus.
New graduates and nurses transitioning into behavioral health are encouraged to explore this opportunity.
