Technical Recruiter-Trainee (Volunteering Role -Unpaid Opportunity)

FFP is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to partner with our Talent Acquisition team in identifying,
engaging, and qualifying top talent for technical and business roles. This is a part-time volunteer
opportunity ideal for an experienced recruiter who enjoys sourcing, building talent pipelines,
and contributing to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Source and identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media,
professional networks, and other sourcing channels.
• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, initial screening,
candidate qualification, interview coordination, follow-ups, and candidate engagement.
• Conduct initial candidate screening calls and assess candidates against job requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates while developing
relationships with prospective and passive candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR team to understand hiring needs, role
requirements, and candidate profiles.
• Review resumes and effectively matches candidates with suitable open positions.
• Utilize colleges, networking groups, professional communities, and service organizations
to promote FFP volunteer opportunities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide timely updates throughout the
recruitment process.
• Support other Talent Acquisition initiatives and recruitment activities as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, with strong experience in sourcing and
recruiting for technical or technology-related positions.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate
requirements.
• Experience conducting initial candidate screenings and evaluating candidates against job
descriptions.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, ATS/recruiting platforms, and social media
sourcing.
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote HR/Talent
Acquisition team.
• Strong interest in contributing to a part-time volunteer opportunity with FFP and
supporting its mission
