Controls Construction Tech III

Our client, a leading mechanical construction and building automation services company, is seeking a Controls Construction Technician III to join their team. As a Controls Construction Technician III, you will be part of the Controls Construction team supporting project managers, commissioning agents, customers, and field technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, leadership abilities, and excellent customer communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems.
Configure field devices, control panels, and network communication protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
Perform functional testing, commissioning support, and system performance diagnostics.
Review drawings, identify deficiencies, implement corrections, and manage change order documentation.
Mentor junior technicians, coordinate subcontractors, and provide customer training and support.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician.
Experience with Tridium AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or similar BAS platforms.
Strong HVAC controls knowledge and low-voltage electrical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
