Finance Transformation Lead – SAP SAC Planning & Group Reporting
Start date: As soon as possible

The Opportunity
A global manufacturing organization is beginning a major finance transformation, moving from Hyperion Planning/HFM to SAP S/4 HANA Analytics Cloud Planning and SAP Group Reporting.
We are looking for a Global Process Owner to represent the FP&A business within this initiative. You will help design the organization’s future planning, forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting processes while partnering with Finance, IT, Operations, and an external systems integrator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an FP&A professional who has used SAC Planning and/or SAP S/4 HANA Group Reporting and wants to take greater ownership of a global transformation. You do not need to be a highly technical SAP configurator or a senior executive. You do need to be proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to translate between business and technical teams.
What You’ll Do
Represent FP&A in the design and implementation of SAC Planning and SAP Group Reporting.
Help define future-state planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management-reporting processes.
Translate Finance needs into clear business requirements for technical teams and implementation partners.
Lead discussions and make practical business-process decisions.
Review process designs, reports, data mappings, test scenarios, and reconciliations.
Support data migration, user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and business sign-off.
Help transition existing Hyperion Planning and HFM processes into the new SAP environment.
Partner across Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, and the systems-integration team.
Communicate complex technical topics in clear business language.
Work independently, identify issues early, and drive decisions and deliverables forward.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in FP&A, including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Practical experience using and/or assisting in the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.
Exposure to or experience using SAP Group Reporting.
Understanding of how an enterprise budget and forecasting process is designed - not simply experience managing an individual department’s budget.
Experience working on a finance-system implementation, transformation, or process-improvement initiative.
Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
A proactive, self-directed approach and willingness to take ownership.
Clear communication skills and the ability to turn technical discussions into business decisions.
Preferred Experience
Hyperion Planning and/or HFM experience.
Experience transitioning from Oracle or Hyperion tools to SAP.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or related finance systems.
Manufacturing, medical-device, life-sciences, or another regulated-industry background.
Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-currency, or global organizations.
This role is best suited to someone who combines strong FP&A fundamentals with hands-on SAC Planning experience and a practical, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
