The Software Engineer V (SE V) is a senior technical leader operating with a full-stack SDE mental model, working collaboratively with engineering and product teams to design, develop, and deliver complex solutions within the InEight Inspect ecosystem — a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by contractors and owners to manage field inspections, quality, and safety workflows.
This role has a deliberately evolving scope, with focus shifting across three horizons:
Now – New Feature Delivery: Design, build, and ship new capabilities on the Inspect roadmap, working across the full stack (ASP.NET Web API, Angular, Azure).
Next – Platform Modernization: Lead and contribute to the .NET 10 migration and related modernization work (EF Core, Angular upgrades) as the Inspect codebase transitions forward.
Then – InEight Advisor / Agentic Journey: Help build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and tooling that connect Inspect's domain and data to AI agents, directly contributing to the InEight Advisor initiative and the broader agentic engineering journey.
