About The Job

Position: Statistical Physics and Thermodynamics Physicist (PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Commitment: 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Evaluate research-level physics problems in your subfield to enhance AI model reasoning.
Design and solve complex physics challenges, ensuring solutions are verifiable by peers.
Review completed work and provide structured feedback to improve AI model outputs.
Collaborate with AI research teams to align on problem-solving methodologies.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines with flexible hours.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in statistical physics, mathematical physics or a closely related field.
Published work on specific phenomena listed in the research areas.
Verifiable publication record with three to five representative papers.
Proficiency with LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
English at B2 or above, including written reasoning.
