Position Summary
Workday Functional Analyst I is a entry-level functional role for someone with foundational Workday knowledge (1 year of experience), focused on supporting basic business process, report, and configuration tasks with significant guidance.
Responsibilities
Learn and support Business Process fundamentals within assigned Workday module(s)
Assist in building and maintaining basic custom reports using Report Writer
Create and modify simple calculated fields
Participate in configuration reviews, testing, and support ticket resolution
Document configuration, changes, and test steps for audit and continuity
Work with more senior analysts to understand functional business requirements
Gain familiarity with functional modules such as HCM, Compensation, or Benefits
Requirements
Approximately 1 year of Workday or similar ERP functional experience
Foundational knowledge of Business Processes, Report Writer, and basic configuration
Associates degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
