Senior Medical Writer, Oncology Publications

Our client, a well established medical communications agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientific writer who enjoys translating complex clinical data into compelling, accurate, and impactful communications for healthcare professional audiences.
Responsibilities
Develop a variety of medical and scientific communications materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, congress materials, and publication plans.
Interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data with accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate closely with account teams, clients, and subject matter experts.
Ensure scientific content meets strategic objectives, publication standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in literature reviews and data analysis to support publication development.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Advanced scientific degree preferred.
Prior experience within a medical communications, publications, or healthcare advertising agency environment is required.
Strong publication writing experience, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress-related deliverables.
Oncology experience highly preferred.
Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agency setting.
