Socio Economic Manager F/H

To support the successful delivery of a major international project in a challenging environment, we are looking for an experienced Socio-Economic Manager (M/F).
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the project's socio-economic development strategy, fostering sustainable relationships with local communities and ensuring that social investment initiatives support both community development objectives and project requirements.
This position will be based abroad in a demanding and remote environment, with regular interaction with local communities, project teams and key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Project Director, your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the project's socio-economic development strategy.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with local communities and key stakeholders.
Supporting community development and social investment initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing stakeholder engagement activities and promoting positive community relations.
Monitoring socio-economic programmes and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Managing budgets and resources related to community development initiatives.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable project delivery.
Ensuring compliance with applicable project requirements and commitments related to socio-economic development.
Providing regular reporting on socio-economic activities, programmes and performance.
Identifying opportunities to strengthen community engagement and long-term project benefits.
Degree in Social Sciences, Economics or a related field.
Proven experience in social investment, community development or socio-economic programmes.
Good understanding of compliance, benefits management, budgeting and financial principles.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working in remote and challenging project environments.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Hands-on, solution-oriented and adaptable mindset.
Client-focused with a proactive approach.
Fluent English required. French would be an advantage.
