Learning and Development Manager - Costa Rica

We're looking for a Learning and Development Manager - Costa Rica This role is Hybrid, Costa Rica
As Learning & Development Manager - Costa Rica, reporting to the US-based Director, Talent Management & Development, you will drive learning initiatives that foster workforce growth and capability across Costa Rica and support regional L&D priorities. You’ll leverage Cornerstone technology to deliver impactful, locally relevant programs that align with our global L&D vision. Through expert facilitation, onsite training delivery, innovative content design, and strong project management, you’ll empower employees, build critical skills, and advance our talent strategy.
In this role you will…
Facilitate engaging, high-quality training sessions for Costa Rica-based employees, including onsite classroom sessions, workshops, and learning events that create exceptional learner experiences.
Partner with site leadership and the People Team to identify local learning needs, coordinate onsite training logistics, and ensure programs are relevant, accessible, and aligned with business priorities.
Design, curate, and deploy learning content and programs in partnership with the People Team and global colleagues.
Execute learning programs in alignment with business strategy and defined skill requirements, working with senior leaders and regional stakeholders to support career development.
Champion talent initiatives—including Development Conversations, cultural programs, and Onboarding—ensuring global consistency with local relevance.
Drive innovation by leveraging AI tools to generate and adapt learning content, streamline training updates, analyze evaluation data, create interactive activities, and facilitate workshops that build workforce capabilities.
Support the US-based Director, Talent Management & Development with additional responsibilities as needed.
You’ve Got What It Takes If You…
Have 7–10+ years of experience in Learning & Development (SaaS industry highly preferred).
Are adept at applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles to drive business outcomes.
Bring experience facilitating onsite and virtual training for diverse employee audiences.
Have strong proficiency in creating digital collateral using Camtasia and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Demonstrate proven ability to develop people managers, including in virtual, matrixed, and/or global environments.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Exhibit creative problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
Demonstrate strong change management skills and adaptability, supporting employees and teams through organizational change.
Have experience using Cornerstone’s solutions.

Have contributed to or led organizational transformation initiatives, enabling workforce adoption of new technologies and driving change in culture, processes, or learning practices.
Bring experience supporting learning programs in a site-based environment with responsibility for coordinating onsite delivery, space, materials, attendance, and stakeholder communication.
