The Opportunity
Keep powerline construction crews equipped, ready, and working safely.

Keep inspections and certifications current: Track required inspections, certifications, and annual renewals. Review daily vehicle and equipment inspection reports and follow through on deficiencies.
Support safe, compliant operations: Maintain fleet standards and processes, support compliance with applicable FMCSA/DOT and occupational health and safety requirements, and keep shops and yards safe and organized.
Control costs and improve reliability: Review vehicle and tooling condition and performance, recommend replacements or upgrades, and assess major repairs with the Fleet & Tooling Manager.
Coordinate logistics: Arrange the movement of equipment, tools, and parts between project locations. Work with Operations on safe, secure transport planning for magazines and implodes.
Manage vendor performance: Hold suppliers and service providers accountable for quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and contractual commitments.

Working knowledge of industry regulations and requirements relevant to fleet, tooling, and safe operations.
Knowledge of cross-border shipping, including shipping documentation, Harmonized System (HS) codes, and customs requirements.
Familiarity with logistics and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate competing equipment, maintenance, and delivery priorities.
