Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Legal, Privacy & Compliance Programs)
Location: Remote (Pacific Time preferred)
Duration: 3 Months till end of year (Potential Extensions to long term)
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support critical legal, privacy, compliance, and governance initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. This role will drive multiple review and approval workstreams simultaneously, ensuring projects remain on track against aggressive launch timelines.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, excels at stakeholder coordination, and has experience navigating complex organizations to move legal, compliance, privacy, or governance reviews from intake through approval.
Key Responsibilities
Drive multiple legal, privacy, compliance, and governance assessments to completion against fixed timelines.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across legal, privacy, engineering, operations, data, and business teams.
Gather, validate, and organize documentation, evidence, and supporting materials required for reviews and approvals.
Manage intake, review, remediation, and approval workflows from initiation through completion.
Track risks, dependencies, blockers, and escalation paths across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Prepare clear executive-level status reports outlining progress, risks, owners, and next steps.
Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts to resolve open issues and close approval gaps.
Navigate large matrixed organizations to identify the correct stakeholders and decision-makers.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to support future audits, reviews, and launch activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Technical Project Management, Program Management, Legal Operations, Compliance Operations, Privacy Operations, Risk Management, or Governance experience.
Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams with competing deadlines.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across large organizations.
Strong project tracking, documentation, and process management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience escalating risks and blockers to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and organizational structures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting privacy, compliance, risk, governance, security, or regulatory programs.
Familiarity with data governance, data compliance, or information management initiatives.
Experience coordinating vendor, contract, or third-party review processes.
Exposure to marketing technology, customer data platforms, or enterprise data management environments.
Experience working in large technology organizations.
