Sr Manager, Decision Science – Reverse, Secondary Market and Lifecycle

As a Senior Manager, Decision Science, you'll lead a team that turns data into decisions that improve how we serve customers and run our business. You'll partner with senior leaders to solve complex challenges, uncover new opportunities, and shape strategy across reverse logistics, lifecycle experiences, and operational performance. If you enjoy leading teams, influencing decisions, and using data to make an impact, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll primarily work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. However, you must live within a drivable distance to our corporate campus in Richfield, Minnesota. What you'll do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of decision scientists and analysts
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and solve key challenges
Set team priorities and manage a portfolio of analytics initiatives
Turn complex business questions into actionable analytical solutions
Guide forecasting, experimentation, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis efforts
Present clear insights and recommendations that influence business decisions
Champion talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement within the team
Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across the analytics organization
Basic qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience using data and analytics to solve business problems
3+ years of experience with SQL and Python, R, or a similar programming language
2+ years of experience leading analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related teams
Experience presenting data-driven insights to senior leaders
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in a quantitative or business-related field
Experience in retail, e-commerce, supply chain, operations, or customer lifecycle analytics
Experience with forecasting, optimization, experimentation, or predictive modeling
Experience managing analytical roadmaps and multiple workstreams
Experience developing senior technical talent and people leaders
