SVP of Originations | Fast-growing Direct Lender | C-PACE
We are working with a fast-growing, institutionally backed direct lender focusing on C-PACE, that is seeking an experienced originator to join the team.
The SVP of Originations will source, originate, and close C-PACE loans nationwide, leveraging an established network of mortgage bankers, developers, sponsors, lenders, and other commercial real estate relationships.
Our client needs a proven hunter with deep structured finance experience, and a track record of originating $50 M+ annually for the past few years, across multiple asset classes.
Additionally, our client has significant dry powder ready to deploy, with minimal process and layers to navigate when closing deals. This is a highly entrepreneurial, production-driven role offering significant upside for an originator who thrives on building relationships, sourcing opportunities, and closing transactions.
Experience :
Source and originate new C-PACE financing opportunities nationwide through existing relationships, direct outreach, conferences, and other business development channels.
Develop and maintain relationships with mortgage bankers, developers, sponsors, property owners, and lenders.
Partner with mortgage brokers and capital providers to incorporate C-PACE financing into project capital stacks.
Secure first-lienholder consent for C-PACE assessment financing.
Prepare and negotiate term sheets.
Support initial project review, underwriting, structuring, and transaction closings.
Maintain accurate pipeline and relationship activity in PLG’s CRM.
Develop expertise across the requirements and nuances of C-PACE programs nationwide.
