Role Description The Consultant role at iQ Inc – The Consultancy is a full-time position based in Chennai, with a hybrid work model that allows some work from home. In this role, consultants collaborate with client teams to assess business needs, analyze data, and develop recommendations that support organizational objectives. Typical responsibilities include conducting research, preparing reports and presentations, facilitating meetings and workshops, and supporting the implementation of agreed strategies or solutions. Consultants are expected to manage project timelines, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of services. The role also involves continuous learning, contributing to internal knowledge development, and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience interpreting data and generating actionable insights.
Proficiency in business communication, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and client documentation.
Experience managing projects or workstreams, including planning, organizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Skill in stakeholder engagement and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications in consulting or project management are an advantage.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to be onsite in Chennai as required and work independently from home.
Prior consulting or client-facing experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to ethical and inclusive professional practices.
