Role Description The Head of Finance is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and performance of Articularis Healthcare Group, Inc. and its affiliates. This role includes managing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for leadership. The Head of Finance will review and interpret financial statements, monitor cash flow, and support decision-making related to investments, growth initiatives, and operational efficiency. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with executive leadership, guiding finance staff or external partners, maintaining compliance with relevant healthcare and financial regulations, and recommending improvements to financial controls and processes. The individual will also contribute to long-term financial planning aligned with AHG’s mission of supporting independent rheumatology practices.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills to guide financial strategy and decision-making.
Demonstrated experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with applicable standards.
Proven ability in Budgeting and financial planning for multi-entity or healthcare-related organizations.
Leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably within healthcare, physician groups, or similar service organizations.
Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, value-based care, and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
