Licensed Couples Counselor - Remote

United Couples Therapy is an online couples and relationship therapy service, contracting licensed clinicians in Texas.
Compensation
$70 an hour for live sessions, paid per session.
Sessions are 40 minutes, so each session pays $46.67.
No-shows paid in full: A client no-show, or a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, pays the full 40-minute session fee, $46.67.
Messaging between sessions: Paid per reply. The rate varies with the complexity of the reply and other factors.
Paid per session, promptly after each session, as an independent contractor (1099). No invoicing.
Published, not negotiated. Everyone is paid the same rate for the same work.
Eight sessions a week is about $1,616 a month, before message replies.

Payment fees: Card and payment processing fees are ours. Nothing is deducted from your rate.
No-show protection: A no-show, or a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, still pays you the full session fee.

What We're Looking For
A current independent license in Texas under one of the titles above
Experience working with couples; training in Gottman, EFT or IFS is a plus
Comfortable working with individuals on relationship issues as well as with couples
Requirements
Master's or doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
Fully independent license, able to provide therapy without supervision
Professional liability insurance

This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment position.
