Role Description The Project Coordinator volunteer role is a remote position responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and tracking of projects that align with Inellas Restoration Center’s mission. On a day-to-day basis, the Project Coordinator may schedule and facilitate virtual meetings, maintain project timelines, document progress, and ensure that tasks and deliverables are completed on time. This role collaborates with team members and other volunteers to gather project requirements, share updates, and resolve routine issues or roadblocks. The Project Coordinator also helps prepare basic reports, organizes project materials, and supports communication with stakeholders to keep everyone informed and engaged.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including comfort using email, messaging platforms, and video conferencing tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating respectfully with diverse team members.
Basic familiarity with project coordination or administrative support, such as maintaining schedules, tracking tasks, or preparing simple reports.
Comfort with common digital tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, online collaboration software); willingness to learn new systems as needed.
Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to the mission of restoring and supporting lives.
Prior volunteer or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required; background in human services, social work, or community outreach is a plus.
