The Opportunity
iThrive is seeking a Co-Founder & Capital Development Executive to work alongside the Founder & CEO and help secure the capital, strategic relationships, and resources required to scale the company through its next stage of growth.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader who understands capital formation, investor relationships, strategic investment, strategic alternatives, and how to position an emerging company for growth.
This is not a traditional fundraising job. We are looking for a Co-Founder and owner who believes in what we have built and can help bring together the capital, relationships, and strategic resources necessary to take iThrive to the next level.
For the right person, this could be their First Act or their Second Act. They could be an entrepreneur, experienced executive, investor, capital markets professional, business leader, or strategic operator ready to put what they have learned and the relationships they have built to work as an owner.
Our purpose is to help people achieve a better quality of life by creating greater income security in a world where job security no longer exists.
The technology, infrastructure, business model, Market Network, and initial applications are already built. The foundation is here. The next objective is to capitalize and scale it.
This is an equity-only entrepreneurial opportunity. There is no salary or guaranteed cash compensation at this stage. The selected Co-Founder will receive meaningful equity ownership in iThrive and participate in the value created as the company grows.
About iThrive
iThrive is the Market Network for the Workforce, powered by a proprietary Workforce Operating System and operating the infrastructure of the World’s First Workforce Sharing Economy.
Airbnb members monetize homes. Uber members monetize cars. iThrive members monetize the talent supply chain.
The talent supply chain is the series of participants, relationships, activities, and roles that connect talent with opportunity and produce a successful outcome.
iThrive orchestrates that supply chain by identifying participation, assigning value to the roles performed, and sharing the economics among the participants who help create it.
iThrive has been bootstrapped by its Founder. The technology, infrastructure, business model, Market Network, and initial applications are built. The predecessor business proved the underlying economic model, paying out millions of dollars in commissions.
Our first application is the Staffing Marketplace, with millions of dollars in shareable staffing commissions.
Our Gigs Marketplace is launching, with additional applications and services on the roadmap.
Operating within two massive global markets, staffing and the gig economy, each projected to surpass $2 trillion by 2030, iThrive helps Hiring Companies save money, Staffing Firms and Channel Partners increase their income, and People earn money.
The Opportunity to Scale
The foundation is built. Now we are ready to scale.
We are preparing to grow marketing, go-to-market, engineering, AI capabilities, membership, strategic partnerships, applications, services, revenue, and economic activity across the platform.
Our membership growth will span Hiring Companies, Staffing Firms, Channel Partners, Recruiters, and People throughout the workforce.
We will expand AI throughout the Workforce Operating System, Market Network, Staffing Marketplace, Gigs Marketplace, and future applications and services where it increases volume, productivity, intelligence, automation, and member value while preserving human relationships, judgment, accountability, and trust.
The next stage requires additional capital, strategic relationships, and resources. A primary responsibility of this Co-Founder will be helping create and secure those resources.
The Market Opportunity
LinkedIn built a Professional Network. Facebook built a Social Network. iThrive is building a Market Network.
A Market Network goes beyond connecting people. It connects participants around opportunities, applications, services, transactions, collaboration, and shared economics.
iThrive members participate, collaborate, find opportunities, create opportunities, and earn.
The next stage is about building the capital structure, organization, technology, go-to-market engine, partnerships, and membership required to scale iThrive globally.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced entrepreneurial business leader who understands how to access capital, build investor relationships, develop strategic alternatives, communicate an investment opportunity, negotiate transactions, and help scale an organization.
The ideal candidate understands both 0 → 1 and 1 → N: how entrepreneurial companies are created and proven, and how an established foundation can be capitalized and scaled.
Demonstrated success raising capital, funding, building, acquiring, growing, or scaling entrepreneurial companies.
Experience with capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, strategic investment, or developing relationships with sources of capital.
An established network of angel investors, family offices, private equity firms, venture investors, strategic investors, lenders, or other potential sources of capital is highly desirable.
Experience presenting investment opportunities and communicating business models, market opportunities, financial models, growth strategies, and potential value creation.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategic investment, joint ventures, transactions, negotiations, deal-making, or other strategic alternatives.
Experience working with founders, boards, investors, executives, and strategic partners.
Strong business development, strategic partnership, go-to-market, sales, marketing, revenue growth, or customer acquisition experience.
Experience with staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce technology, marketplaces, SaaS, platforms, AI, product, engineering, or related technology-driven business models is beneficial.
Strong financial and business judgment, including an understanding of capitalization, financial models, valuation, P&L management, forecasting, KPIs, and resource allocation.
The ability to operate entrepreneurially and create value before significant resources are available.
Comfortable joining iThrive on an equity-only basis and contributing as an owner rather than as a traditional salaried executive.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can help create the capital, relationships, strategic alternatives, and resources required to scale iThrive.
