Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives

Role Description The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives is a full-time remote role responsible for leading cross-functional programs that drive growth, operational efficiency, and innovation across the organization. This position oversees the design, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives, working closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align projects with long-term business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining program roadmaps, setting performance metrics, reviewing data and market insights, and ensuring timely delivery of strategic projects. The role also involves mentoring project teams, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and preparing clear reports and presentations for senior management. The Senior Director will actively identify new opportunities, mitigate risks, and support decision-making that strengthens the company’s position in the healthcare and medical equipment sector.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives and align them with organizational goals.
Robust Project Management capabilities to plan, execute, and track project milestones, budgets, timelines, and outcomes.
Advanced Strategic Planning and Consulting skills to assess business needs, develop long-term strategies, and advise leadership on key decisions.
Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, conduct market and competitive analyses, and derive actionable insights.
Proven leadership experience in a senior role, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or a related industry.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures, functions, and time zones.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with high levels of accountability and self-management.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field.
