Employment Type: Contract (4 Months)
Shift Timings (CT): 8:00 AM - 05:00 PM ET
9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET
What You’ll Do
As a Tax Support Representative, you will assist our business, individual tax software, and practice clients by resolving moderate to complex inquiries.
Client Support: Resolve tax and software inquiries via phone, chat, and email using internal knowledge bases and support guides.
Issue Management: Identify, document, and escalate complex system or content issues while logging interactions in CRM (Salesforce).
Continuous Improvement: Participate in product testing, process improvement initiatives, and cross-train across various platforms.
Data Security: Ensure absolute confidentiality and security of product and customer data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree / 2 years of college in a business-related field OR 1+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or sales/CRM.
Solid understanding of basic tax, accounting, and audit principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work flexible/overtime hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
Hands-on experience with CCH tax & accounting software or Salesforce.
Background in tax preparation, accounting, or tech/helpdesk support.
