Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital. This position assists in overseeing administrative processes, coordinating between clinical and non-clinical teams, and ensuring that departmental activities run smoothly and efficiently. Typical responsibilities include supervising staff schedules, monitoring service quality, handling patient and visitor queries, and supporting the implementation of hospital policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager helps track key performance indicators, prepares basic reports, and collaborates with senior leadership to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. The role also involves problem-solving in real time, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a positive, professional work environment.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in basic office software and hospital information systems; comfort with data entry, reporting, and documentation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with medical staff, support teams, patients, and families.
Demonstrated leadership potential, including team coordination, basic people management, and conflict resolution abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to support operational efficiency and adherence to hospital policies.
Understanding of or willingness to learn healthcare operations, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in hospital or healthcare administration, or in a similar assistant management role, is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, maintain professional conduct, and uphold ethical and inclusive workplace practices.
