## About the Role
IXL Learning is seeking a skilled **Worksheet Graphic Designer** to join its design team on a freelance consulting basis. In this role, you will work closely with the IXL and Education.com content teams to create beautiful, engaging, and visually consistent worksheets and other printable learning materials for students in **PreK–8**.
You will design materials across multiple subject areas, including **math, language arts, science, and social studies**, while following established brand styles and maintaining a clean, polished visual experience. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented print designer who can manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality work on quick turnaround timelines.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design high-quality **printable worksheets and educational materials** for students in grades PreK–8.
* Collaborate with the **IXL and Education.com content teams** throughout the design process.
* Create engaging layouts and visual designs across multiple educational subject areas, including:
* Math
* Language Arts
* Science
* Social Studies
* Ensure all designs adhere to established **brand guidelines and visual styles**.
* Maintain consistency across worksheets and other printable materials.
* Apply strong typography, spacing, alignment, and layout principles to every design.
* Manage multiple design requests and projects efficiently.
* Meet **quick turnaround deadlines** while maintaining design quality and accuracy.
* Incorporate feedback effectively and make revisions as needed.
* Keep design work organized and ensure deliverables are completed according to project requirements.
## Required Qualifications
* Professional experience in **print design**.
* High proficiency in **Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator**.
* Portfolio demonstrating:
* Clean and polished design aesthetics
* Strong typography skills
* Solid understanding of layout
* High-quality print design work
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly with **alignment, spacing, typography, and brand consistency**.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple design requests.
* Ability to work efficiently and consistently meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to receive, understand, and incorporate feedback into design work.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience designing **worksheets, educational materials, or other printable learning resources**.
* Experience creating materials for children or education-focused audiences.
* Familiarity with designing across multiple subject areas.
* Experience working with established brand guidelines and design systems.
