Role Description The Consultant role at Lean Green Machine is a full-time remote position responsible for advising clients on improving operational efficiency and sustainability. On a day-to-day basis, the Consultant analyzes client processes and performance data, identifies challenges, and develops practical recommendations. The role involves preparing reports and presentations, facilitating virtual meetings and workshops, and supporting clients through implementation of agreed solutions. The Consultant collaborates with cross-functional client teams, monitors project progress, and adjusts plans as needed to meet goals and timelines. This position requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as comfort working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in consulting, business analysis, or process improvement, ideally within operations, sustainability, or organizational efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while working remotely and independently.
Collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders in virtual settings.
Comfort with common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms, video conferencing tools).
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with lean methodologies, continuous improvement, or sustainability initiatives is highly beneficial.
