Role Description The Manager role at CEG Test House & Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Manager will oversee daily operations of testing laboratories and field investigation teams, ensuring compliance with NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) standards and internal quality protocols. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating geotechnical, geophysical, and material testing projects, monitoring timelines, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The role involves leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, addressing technical queries, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in methodology and equipment usage. The Manager will also contribute to business development activities by supporting proposals, maintaining client relationships, and promoting service quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills to guide multidisciplinary laboratory and field teams.
Project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills for overseeing multiple geotechnical and material testing assignments.
Knowledge of quality management systems, NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) standards, and compliance practices in testing laboratories.
Technical expertise in geotechnical investigations, construction materials testing, NDT, and civil engineering consultancy.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting test results, troubleshooting operational issues, and supporting technical decisions.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting, client interaction, and internal documentation.
Proficiency with relevant engineering and geotechnical software; familiarity with tools like gINT and ReSSA is an advantage.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; prior experience in laboratory or field testing management is highly
