Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirupati. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including explaining course options, eligibility requirements, and application procedures. Daily tasks include meeting and counseling walk-in and scheduled visitors, responding to phone and online inquiries, maintaining accurate student records, and following up with leads to ensure timely completion of applications. The role also involves coordinating with educational institutions, participating in outreach activities, supporting information sessions or events, and working with the team to achieve admission and enrollment targets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel students and interact with families and institutions.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide professional, empathetic, and responsive support to prospective students.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining ethical and student-centered practices.
Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, such as familiarity with academic programs, admission procedures, or student guidance.
Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with basic computer applications, ability to maintain organized records, fluency in English and local languages, prior experience in counseling or admissions, and at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
