Role Description The Head of Production Department is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring production output, resolving operational issues, coordinating with procurement and logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. The Head of Production Department will lead and mentor production teams, manage budgets and cost controls, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role also involves preparing regular performance reports, supporting audits, and collaborating with senior leadership on production strategies and capacity planning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management.
Candidates should possess proven abilities in Operations Management and Team Management.
Candidates should possess experience in Budgeting and cost-control practices.
Candidates should have knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
Candidates should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates should ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Operations, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Candidates should have prior experience in leading production teams in manufacturing or healthcare-related industries.
