Coverage Partner

We are currently working on several searches with a leading global corporate law firm, which includes multiple Partner level attorneys to join the firm's coverage group on a remote basis.

This firm is rapidly growing and recognized globally for it's leadership in the insurance sector. The role offers significant flexibility for the right candidate, with a clear runway to equity partnership.
Responsibilities:
Provide sophisticated coverage advice to leading domestic and international insurers across a wide variety of product lines, including D&O, E&O, Cyber, CGL, and First-Party Property.
Lead high-profile coverage litigation and arbitration, including defending insurers against bad faith claims.
Actively participate in client pitches, industry conferences, and thought leadership to further expand the firm’s footprint in the US market. (Partner candidates will be expected to leverage and grow an established book of business).
Supervise, train, and mentor junior and mid-level associates within the firm's national insurance practice group.
What the firm is looking for:
A minimum of 8+ years of dedicated experience handling complex insurance coverage matters at a highly ranked law firm.
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and current admission in good standing to your local state.
Exceptional analytical abilities, persuasive legal writing, and formidable oral advocacy skills.
A proven track record of managing cases independently from inception to resolution.
A commercial mindset with a deep understanding of the insurance industry, market trends, and the business needs of the firm's clients.
A demonstrated, portable book of business is highly preferred.
