Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Nellore. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and supporting internal and external audits. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide financial insights, maintain proper documentation, and support decision-making through regular reporting.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, Excel) and ability to maintain accurate digital records.
Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and familiarity with statutory filings relevant to the mining or industrial sector.
Attention to detail with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and management.
Ability to work on-site in Nellore, manage deadlines, and handle multiple financial tasks with minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA intermediate, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in mining, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
