Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for equipment, materials, and services required for hydroponic and CEA projects. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating suppliers, requesting and reviewing quotations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role involves collaborating with operations, project, and finance teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and align purchases with project timelines and budgets. The Procurement Manager will also maintain accurate procurement records, track supplier performance, manage contract compliance, and continuously seek cost-effective and sustainable sourcing options.
Qualifications
Strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, including experience in sourcing, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management.
Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance with agreements.
Analytical skills for cost analysis, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making in procurement activities.
Experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, and purchasing processes within manufacturing, agriculture, or related industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and organizational discipline.
Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices or agricultural technology (hydroponics/CEA) is an advantage.
