Business Development Manager

Mayr Power Transmissions India Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its Business Development team and looking for 2 talented and ambitious Business Development Managers to join us.
If you have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering + Technical Sales + Power Transmission, this could be an exciting opportunity to grow with a global technology company.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Graduate Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in power transmission products such as Couplings, Torque Limiters, Clutches and Industrial Safety Brakes
• 2–6 years of experience in sales of mechanical components, preferably power transmission products
• Strong network and contacts with Indian Machinery OEMs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers and Key Accounts
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop marketing and business strategies
• Strong customer orientation and ability to work effectively as a team player
• Self-motivated, reliable, ambitious and ethical
• Fluent in English and a local Indian language
• Experience in international business and cross-cultural communication will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
• Accelerate sales growth with existing and target customers and expand the channel through technical support, product introduction and solution proposals
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and relevant functions at existing and potential customers
• Drive product adoption and identify replacement and new application opportunities
• Analyze the Indian market and develop business strategies to support the company's long-term growth in India
• Strengthen market penetration through digital marketing, print media, exhibitions and customer engagement activities
• Manage sales and marketing budgets and ensure effective utilization
• Prepare and execute annual and quarterly strategic plans in alignment with Head Office
• Submit monthly reports covering activities, market developments, competitors and sales & marketing expenses
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, company policies, confidentiality requirements and NDAs
