Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding Iber TMS’s market presence in last-mile logistics. This role includes identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key partners and clients, and leading the sales pipeline from prospecting through closing. The Vice President of Business Development will develop and execute business plans, oversee contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market needs. The role also involves setting performance targets, monitoring market trends, representing Iber TMS at industry events, and providing regular reporting to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth in B2B or logistics-related markets.
Strong skills in Business Planning, including market analysis, go-to-market strategy creation, and long-term growth planning.
Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements.
Experience in Account Management, including nurturing strategic relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Proven leadership experience in senior business development or commercial roles, ideally within logistics, transportation, or technology sectors.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, financial metrics, and performance indicators to inform decision-making.
Comfort working in a start-up environment, with adaptability, initiative, and the ability to operate independently in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage, particularly for international market development.
