Role Description The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and integrating all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success. The CRO will design and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with IventClick’s growth goals, market positioning, and customer segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing lead generation initiatives, optimizing sales operations, guiding account management activities, and ensuring a consistent, data-driven approach to revenue forecasting and performance tracking. The CRO will collaborate closely with the executive team to refine pricing models, expand into new markets, and develop strategic partnerships that increase platform adoption and retention. This role also involves building and coaching high-performing teams, establishing scalable processes, and championing a customer-centric culture across the organization.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Sales and Lead Generation, with a track record of driving sustainable revenue growth in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Strong background in Account Management and customer relationship development to increase retention, upsell opportunities, and overall customer lifetime value.
Hands-on experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM optimization, and performance analytics.
Demonstrated ability in Strategic Planning, including market analysis, go-to-market design, and cross-functional execution of revenue strategies.
Leadership experience managing diverse, distributed teams and fostering an inclusive, performance-driven culture.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment; experience in events, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial but not required.
