Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing construction and presentation drawings, sourcing materials and finishes, and supporting FF&E selection and documentation. The role involves coordinating with senior designers, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, requiring regular interaction with team members and site visits as needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing and reading technical plans and details.
Experience or familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite).
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills for client interactions, vendor coordination, and documentation.
Willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and conduct site visits as required.
