Role Description The VP of Creative is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the creative vision and execution of events and brand activations for Man-Laï Event Planning. This role oversees concept development for themed experiences, ensures cohesive branding across all touchpoints, and guides art direction for decor, lighting, audiovisual elements, and visual content. The VP of Creative collaborates closely with the founder and cross-functional partners to translate client objectives into distinctive creative strategies, pitch ideas, and present mood boards and creative decks. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing creative workflows, directing external designers and creatives, reviewing and refining event concepts, and maintaining creative consistency across social media, web marketing, and promotional materials. The role also involves staying ahead of cultural and industry trends, supporting new business proposals, and ensuring all creative output meets high standards of innovation and quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Creative Direction and Art Direction to guide the overall visual and experiential identity of events.
Candidates should possess Creative Strategy and Concept Development skills to transform client objectives and themes into compelling, integrated event narratives.
Candidates should possess Branding expertise to maintain consistent brand experiences across live events, digital campaigns, and promotional materials.
Experience in experiential marketing, event production, or luxury/lifestyle brands is beneficial.
Proven ability to lead creative teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners, vendors, and clients.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative, immersive concepts.
Comfort working remotely, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Design, Marketing, Communications, or Arts) or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
