Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Trainer role based in Bengaluru. The Field Trainer is responsible for training parlour staff on standard operating procedures, product preparation, hygiene and safety practices, and customer service expectations. In this role, the trainer conducts regular in-store training sessions, evaluates performance, and provides coaching to improve service quality and operational efficiency. The position includes creating and updating training materials, supporting new store openings, and ensuring consistent implementation of company policies across multiple locations. The Field Trainer collaborates closely with store managers and operations leadership to identify training needs, track progress, and maintain Polar Bear’s service and quality standards.
Qualifications
Training and development skills, including designing training modules, delivering group and one-on-one sessions, and providing constructive feedback.
Strong operational understanding of food and beverage or retail environments, including SOPs, hygiene standards, and basic inventory and store processes.
Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to coach teams on guest interaction, problem-solving, and creating positive in-store experiences.
Organizational and time-management abilities to plan training schedules, travel between outlets, and document training outcomes clearly.
Prior experience in field training, store supervision, or team leadership in F&B, QSR, or retail is preferred.
Comfort working on-site across multiple locations in Bengaluru, including early or late shifts as business requires.
Proficiency in English and local languages commonly spoken in Bengaluru; strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
