Role Description The CEO role at So Surat is a full-time, on-site position located in Surat, responsible for leading the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the machine manufacturing business. The CEO will oversee daily operations, including production, quality, supply chain, and customer service, ensuring that processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with company goals. This role includes managing financial performance, setting budgets, monitoring cash flow, and driving profitability while maintaining compliance with regulations and industry standards. The CEO will define and implement business and market strategies, lead sales initiatives, build key customer and partner relationships, and explore new market opportunities. The CEO will also develop leadership capabilities within the organization, foster a collaborative culture, and ensure effective communication across teams and stakeholders, including board members and investors.
Qualifications
Strong Finance skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and profit and loss management.
Expertise in Operations Management, covering production processes, quality assurance, and supply chain oversight.
Capability in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, with experience setting long-term goals and executing growth strategies.
Proven Sales and commercial leadership skills, including market development, customer relationship management, and negotiation.
Extensive executive leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial machinery, with a track record of delivering operational and financial results.
Ability to make data-driven decisions, manage risk, and adapt to changing market conditions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills, with an inclusive and ethically grounded leadership style.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Management; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
