Role Description This full-time, on-site Software Engineer Internship role is based in Coimbatore. Interns will contribute to designing, developing, and testing software features for web and AI-powered applications, working closely with the engineering team. Daily tasks include writing clean, maintainable code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating on backend services and APIs. Interns will also help prototype new tools for hackathons and community projects, document technical work, and learn best practices in software development workflows and version control. The role offers hands-on experience in building scalable systems while contributing to the broader innovation ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
Ability to program in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices.
Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including building and integrating APIs, working with databases, and understanding server-side frameworks.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Interest in hackathons, AI-powered solutions, and developer communities is highly beneficial.
